Japanese Marketing Analyst
The Job
Our PPC team operates in over 15 different markets, and we are currently expanding into Japan. We are looking for a candidate, ideally with commercial experience or an exceptional graduate. Native Japanese is essential.
Responsibilities

Keyword research:
Using software and your initiative to create substantial lists of keywords a user may type into the search engine when looking for one of our client’s products.

Ad creation:
Using the various advertising platforms to create adverts for specific groups of keywords.

Analysis:
Analysing the commission generated from each individual keyword against the cost and adjusting the price accordingly.

Account Management:
Communicating with our clients via phone, email and face-to-face.
Required Qualities:

Language skills:
You must have native fluency in Japanese.

A passion for the Internet:
No prior experience is required but you must have a passion for the Internet, in particular eCommerce and web2.0.

Analytical skills:
Attention to detail and the ability to sift through large amounts of data quickly are essential. This is a marketing position but with a much greater weight on analysis over creativity.

Computer skills:
Excellent knowledge of Excel is important. Technical / programming skills are desirable but not essential.

Communication skills:
It’s essential you can manage a range of clients of various sizes.
Senior Ruby On Rails Developer
The Job
Omio is part of TrafficBroker, an award winning internet marketing agency specialising in paid search and exciting web developments. Founded in 2004, we’ve quickly established ourselves as one of the largest super affiliates and manage advertising spend for many blue chip companies worldwide. We’re based in London and employ over 45 staff in the UK, with additional technical staff in our offshore development centres. Our competitive advantage comes through our technology leadership and we believe whole-heartedly in Agile development methodologies. We are looking for a highly focused individual who will technically design, develop and release our new complex websites and internal systems as part of a motivated on- and off-shore team. The position may be on Omio or a number of different exciting web projects.

We are looking for:

Hard core programmer

Proven experience and skill writing Web services - back-end and front-end

Deep experience in HTML, HTTP, XML/HTTP, CSS

Deep understanding of scalable Web server and database architectures

Website programming experience, particularly Linux/Apache/MySQL/RubyOnRails

Skill at (and joy in) creating scalable web services and web sites

Ruby on Rails – have launched at least one system with Ruby, Rails or Python

BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field

DBA experience (especially in MySQL) a plus
